Football Recap: Aptos Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Aptos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the North Salinas Vikings, falling 30-6. The Mariners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Joshua Bermio threw for 81 yards and one TD. Caden Bogle was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Gavin McDonald rushed for 38 yards.

Aptos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for North Salinas, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Aptos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Salinas, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-14 loss against Santa Teresa on the 14th.
