Soccer Recap: Winters Wins Going Away Against Fairfield

Winters kept a clean sheet against Fairfield on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Fairfield Falcons as they made off with a 6-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Their offense was hitting Fairfield from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Alejandro Murillo Cerrillo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Winters and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Fairfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Winters will challenge Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairfield has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Foothill on the 12th.
