Softball Game Preview: Whitehall Vikings vs. Independence Indees

For the second straight game, Whitehall will face off against Independence. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indees at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitehall is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Whitehall might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-2 to Independence, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Harlow Foss made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was her first of the season. Taylor Johnson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Independence, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
