Ty Kerns Game Report: @ Georgetown

Ty Kerns posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. Georgetown had no answer to Kerns as he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. Kerns has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Even though Kerns couldn't lead Waccamaw over Georgetown, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Waccamaw has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
