Football Recap: White Oak Starts Season with Win Against Eustace

White Oak had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Eustace Bulldogs to the tune of 58-7. That's more bragging rights for the Roughnecks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jaxsen Ludlow was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 154.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, White Oak will host Pewitt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eustace, they will venture away from home to challenge Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
