Basketball Recap: Columbus' Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Lee, Columbus was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Highland Huskies by a score of 53-46. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory snapped Columbus' losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Winfield-Mt. Union the next time they take the court. Highland will head out to face Winfield-Mt. Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Columbus will host them at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th.
