There's no place like home for Boerne, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Pieper Warriors on Monday. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Boerne pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pieper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8-1 record this season.

Boerne will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pieper: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
