Norwell is 6-1 against Columbia City since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Norwell will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Norwell and Huntington North had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Vikings on Thursday. Considering the Knights have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Drew Graft, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Norwell's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-9 when he doesn't). Drew Jolley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Norwell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Columbia City's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westview on Saturday.
Carter Wilkinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Columbia City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Bradberry, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.
Columbia City dropped their record down to 15-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Norwell, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-9.
