Recap: Graham Local Falcons vs. Kenton Ridge Cougars
Even though the Graham Local Falcons have not done well against the Kenton Ridge Cougars recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Graham Local simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kenton Ridge 53-21 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-7.
Graham Local got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zoey Conn out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Hailey Nash was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Graham Local and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Kenton Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Graham Local will be home for the holidays to greet Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northwestern comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Kenton Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Jonathan Alder at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Jonathan Alder presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kenton Ridge in Ohio (Jonathan Alder is ranked 270th, while Kenton Ridge is ranked 724th).
