Soccer Recap: Brown Deer Takes a Loss

Brown Deer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Howards Grove Tigers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Brown Deer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Howards Grove are ranked 23rd).

Brown Deer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Howards Grove, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Brown Deer will challenge Greenfield at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Howards Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on the 6th.
