Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Friends Comes Up Short

After flying high against William Penn on Monday, Wilmington Friends came back down to earth. The Quakers came up short against the Tower Hill Hillers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Quakers in their meetings with the Hillers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Wilmington Friends' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Tower Hill, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilmington Friends will face off against rival St. Andrew's at 5:15 p.m. on the 26th. Meanwhile, Tower Hill is set to challenge their familiar foe Tatnall at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
