Baseball Recap: Boulder Find Success

Boulder came out on top against Glencoe on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Tide 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 29, 2025.

Toby Schoenfeld made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Schoenfeld was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2025.

In other batting news, Rowan Westfall and Nick Dubofsky did most of the damage at the plate: Westfall went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Dubofsky went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Westfall has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Torvik, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

The victory got Boulder back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Boulder will square off against Emmett at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glencoe, they will face off against Verrado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
