The Bonita Springs Bullsharks will take on the Estero Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonita Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Bonita Springs is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since February 11th on Thursday. They fell just short of South Fort Myers by a score of 7-5. The Bullsharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riley Proulx and David Sadler stepped up to the plate in a big way. Proulx scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Sadler scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Sadler snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Estero came up short against North Fort Myers on Wednesday and fell 9-4.

Landon Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Case Bowman, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Estero has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Bonita Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bonita Springs has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Estero struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Bonita Springs skirted past Estero 4-2 in their previous meeting last Thursday. Will the Bullsharks repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
