            Basketball Recap: Perkins County Plainsmen vs. Sedgwick County Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Holyoke  last Tuesday, Perkins County came back down to earth. The Perkins County Plainsmen had to suffer through a   63-18 loss at the hands of the Sedgwick County Cougars. The  game marked the Plainsmen's lowest-scoring  match so far this season.
 Ella Homan was Perkins County's leading scorer, having posted seven points.   Libby Cole held things down on the boards with five rebounds.   Madison Potts took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
  Abigail Dille continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sedgwick County,  going 6 of 11  en route to 18  points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.  Lainee Nein was another key player,  putting up 13 points in addition to eight  boards and three  steals.

With the  loss, Perkins County broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-10. As for Sedgwick County, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
 Perkins County will challenge Maxwell at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Sedgwick County has already played their next contest,  a  47-40  win against Akron on the 31st.
