The biggest upset of the week belonged to Live Oak, who took down 565th ranked Live Oak, 28-21. DeJon Packer threw for five yards and ran for 140 yards in the win.

Gunderson moved up to 554 from 591 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Santa Teresa. The Grizzlies were able to make move up by defeating the Acorns 28-21.

Branham's dynamic duo of Mitchell King and Delbertson Daniel proved tough for Mt. Pleasant to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. King threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns and Daniel had 106 yards receiving. Germani Rogers helped Branham's passing attack out by catching one ball for 58 yards.

Trevor Bearden was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 270 yards on 41 carries as Live Oak bested the Cardinals. Joey Rodriguez also contributed to the rushing game with 11 yards on the ground.

Branham's King and Daniel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. King has thrown for 1193 yards this season, while Daniel has 29 catches for 397 yards. Mike Gemo's team's Bearden leads the league in rushing yards with 1457.

The top two teams in Santa Teresa will face off this week when first place Gunderson takes on second place Lincoln. Gunderson topped the Acorns last week, while Lincoln defeated Silver Creek.

The Lions' Jacob Avery is a mere 77 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 122 carries Avery has accumulated 923 yard this year.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Lincoln takes on the Grizzlies. Kevin Collins' team's offense has racked up 243 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Gunderson has allowed only 104 on the year.
