Chance Aspaas Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Kirtland Central's Chance Aspaas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Aspaas threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.

Moriarty was sadly handed a defeat on Saturday, but Derek Michel did his best to prevent it. Michel turned in nothing short of a gem: he rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Having lost for the first time this season, Moriarty fell to 2-1. Michel and Moriarty will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bernalillo at 6:00 p.m.

Caedon Kamplain Has Best Rushing Day of Career
Caedon Kamplain posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Kamplain has run in four touchdowns while averaging 110 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 23.67 rushing yards per game.
