Baseball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 10-4 to the Sheridan Generals.

Marietta has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15-1 record this season. As for Sheridan, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Marietta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sheridan, they will take on Miami Trace in a tournament on Tuesday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
