Basketball Recap: Powell's Loss Ends 14-Game Winning Streak at Home

Powell entered their matchup against Cody on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Powell Panthers lost to the Cody Broncs at home by a 69-55 margin. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncs earlier this season, when they won 63-60.

Powell's loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3. As for Cody, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-4.

Powell and Worland will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Cody has already played their next contest (against Lander Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
