The Eastmoor Academy Warriors can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 71-67 win over Varsity Opponent. Eastmoor Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
James Nowell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten steals. He set a new season high mark in rebounds with seven. Another player making a difference was Stephon Simpkins, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Eastmoor Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 206-775-7.
