Basketball Recap: St. Mary Cathedral Takes a Loss

St. Mary Cathedral entered their matchup against East Jordan on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds fell 54-42 to the East Jordan Red Devils. The Snowbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 60-21.

St. Mary Cathedral's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 15-1 and their overall record down to 16-2. As for East Jordan, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Looking ahead, St. Mary Cathedral will challenge Central Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Jordan, they will square off against Inland Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
