Geneseo can bid farewell to their 15-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Macomb Bombers as they made off with an 8-1 victory. It was an even better day for Cole Clifton as he scored three goals for his team.

Geneseo's win bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Macomb, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Geneseo will square off against Peoria at 10:00 a.m. on the 18th. As for Macomb, they will venture away from home to take on Canton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
