Volleyball Recap: North Wilkes Vikings vs. Forbush Falcons

North Wilkes was the 3-1 winner over Forbush when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The North Wilkes Vikings fell just short of the Forbush Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

North Wilkes actually scored more points across those five sets (105-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 12-25, 15-25, 25-21, 18-16.

As for Forbush, it'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons takes on Wilkes Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forbush is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
