Enochs and Gregori are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Gregori will be up against a hot Enochs squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles put the hurt on Modesto with a sharp 17-1 win on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Enochs got a great performance from Kaylee Ruiz as she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts Ruiz has posted since back in March.
On the hitting side, Camila Ramirez Quintana was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Soraya Mendoza was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
Enochs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in 11 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gregori, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Downey a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Kaliyah Mauia was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of NeVaeh Scheper, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Enochs pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Gregori, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-7 record.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Enochs has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .487. However, it's not like Gregori struggles in that department as they've averaged .485. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enochs beat Gregori 10-6 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
