After a string of nine wins, Christian Heritage's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 51-42 to the Southwest Covenant Patriots. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Christian Heritage's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Southwest Covenant, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.
