Baseball Recap: Johnstown-Monroe Takes a Loss

Johnstown-Monroe fell victim to Fredericktown and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freddies. The Johnnies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Freddies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Johnstown-Monroe has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Fredericktown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Johnstown-Monroe will face off against Utica at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fredericktown, they will challenge Danville at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
