Football Recap: Lafayette Patriots vs. Long Island City Bulldogs
Lafayette had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 32-6 to the Long Island City Bulldogs on Saturday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row dating back to last season.
Josh Canela had an outrageously good game for Long Island City as he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Canela also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles. Billy Fuiaxis also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will venture away from home to take on Frank J. Macchiarola at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Long Island City, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Petrides at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
