Soccer Recap: Cary's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Monday

Cary kept a clean sheet against Felton Grove on Monday. They came out on top against the Galaxy by a score of 2-0. Given Cary's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Felton Grove are ranked 426th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lucas Rosas and Emerson Selig scored both of Cary's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Cary now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Felton Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cary will take on Middle Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Middle Creek will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Cary surely won't give up without a fight. As for Felton Grove, they will square off against Holly Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
