Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Stansbury's Winning Streak

Stansbury came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stallions have suffered since September 9th.

While Stansbury was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-23.

Bryn Leigh Jones paced Stansbury's offense, picking up ten kills. Jones got some help from Leah Winder and her 14 assists. Winder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Seini Talakai was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and three assists.
