Baseball Recap: Jackson-Olin Gets the Win

While Jackson-Olin's victory against Bessemer City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 4-3. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Kamryn Jones was excellent, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Jackson-Olin back to even at 2-2. As for Bessemer City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Jackson-Olin will head out on the road to face off against Indian Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bessemer City, they will head out to square off against Center Point at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
