Softball Recap: Chireno Takes a Loss

Chireno fell victim to Shelbyville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Dragons. The loss continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost four in a row.

Chireno's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Shelbyville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Chireno will be playing in front of their home fans against Woden at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelbyville, they will challenge Broaddus at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
