Zephyrhills Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-53 W against the Bella Vista Prep Bears.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Toni Bryant, who went 8-for-15 en route to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and six blocks. Bryant is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Yale Davis, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 assists.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Bella Vista Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Zephyrhills Christian Academy will challenge Elite Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bella Vista Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Miller School of Albemarle at 8:20 a.m. on the 14th.
