Basketball Game Preview: Kimball Cubs vs. Paynesville Bulldogs

The Kimball Cubs will head out to face off against the Paynesville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, Kimball made easy work of Swanville and carried off a 71-45 win. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Paynesville earned an 80-70 victory over Eden Valley-Watkins on Thursday.

Kimball pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Paynesville, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Kimball didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Paynesville in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 74-69 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kimball since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
