Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Cheyenne/Reydon rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Turpin Cardinals by a score of 55-47. 55 seems to be a good number for the Bears as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cheyenne/Reydon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Bogges, who went 6-for-7 en route to 15 points and five steals. Bogges is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games she's played. Kimbo Denney was another key player, going 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

The win (which was Cheyenne/Reydon's third in a row) raised their record to 17-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Turpin, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

As of now, neither Cheyenne/Reydon nor Turpin have any future games scheduled.
