Eagle Pass proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Alexander Bulldogs. The win was familiar territory for Eagle Pass, who have now won six matches in a row.

Eagle Pass' victory bumped their record up to 16-8-2. As for Alexander, they moved to 15-8-1 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eagle Pass is set to square off against their familiar foe United at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alexander will take on rival Laredo LBJ at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
