Volleyball Recap: Benton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Benton duked it out with Warrensburg on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Benton sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 16-25, 25-19.

Benton's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Warrensburg, they moved to 10-8-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Benton has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lawson on the 30th. As for Warrensburg, they will challenge Lincoln College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
