Basketball Recap: Newell-Fonda Victorious

Newell-Fonda lost to East Sac County back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Newell-Fonda Mustangs walked away with a 65-54 win over the East Sac County Raiders.

Newell-Fonda now has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Sac County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newell-Fonda will head out to square off against Estherville Lincoln Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Sac County and Pocahontas will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
