Recap: Fairless Falcons vs. Tuslaw Mustangs
The Fairless Falcons lost against the Tuslaw Mustangs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Fairless took a hard 52-34 fall against Tuslaw. While losing is never fun, Fairless can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 370th, while Tuslaw is ranked 155th).
Tuslaw got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Breanna Mccabe out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Mccabe hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Destiny Dulkoski was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Fairless' defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-7. As for Tuslaw, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Fairless will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Triway at 7:00 p.m. As for Tuslaw, they will head out on the road to challenge Northwest at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
