Basketball Recap: Broken Arrow Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Broken Arrow put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Jenks Trojans by a score of 44-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Broken Arrow had a senior duo take command as Macy Marraccini posted 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals and McKenzie Mathurin had 15 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Mathurin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Dolan, who put up six points.

Broken Arrow pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.6 points. As for Jenks, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Broken Arrow and Glenpool will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jenks, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sapulpa at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
