Highland Springs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Henrico recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Springers will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Highland Springs will be strutting in after a win while Henrico will be coming in after a loss.

Highland Springs is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Phoebus, who was ranked 13th at the time (Highland Springs was ranked second). The Springers took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 28-0 victory over the Phantoms. Considering the Springers have won three matchups by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Henrico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-6 to Armstrong, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Henrico's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Highland Springs, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Highland Springs against Henrico when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 35-0 win. Will the Springers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
