Burlington has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wilmington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Devils will take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Wilmington took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Burlington, who comes in off a win.

Burlington proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Melrose, sneaking past 3-2. The game was the first time the Red Devils have beaten the Red Raiders on their court since October 25, 2021.

Burlington wouldn't go down easily and took Melrose into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 13-25, 25-15, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Wilmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Watertown.

The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 25-15, 25-16.

Burlington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Wilmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.

Everything went Burlington's way against Wilmington when the teams last played back in September, as Burlington made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
