Baseball Game Preview: Bartlett Indians vs. Worcester Tech Eagles

Bartlett is 0-4 against Worcester Tech since April of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Indians will head out to take on the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Bartlett has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bartlett came up short against Northbridge on Monday, falling 16-1. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bartlett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Sebastyanski, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. Adam Phillips also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Worcester Tech not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024. Everything went their way against North as they made off with a 15-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Polar Bears: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Kenny Bergeron Jr., who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one double. Zachary Braconnier was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Worcester Tech's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bartlett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
