The victory was all the more spectacular given Eden Christian Academy's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 446th, while Neshannock is ranked 150th).

Beaver County Christian's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Neshannock on Thursday. Beaver County Christian had just enough and edged out Freedom Area 1-0. Zachary Stephens had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Beaver County Christian.

Eden Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Beaver County Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
