Soccer Recap: South San Antonio Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when South San Antonio duked it out withSouthside on Tuesday. The South San Antonio Bobcats fell just short of the Southside Cardinals by a score of 1-0. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

South San Antonio's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Southside, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South San Antonio will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harlandale at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th. As for Southside, they will square off against MacArthur at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
