Soccer Recap: Cox Mill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to five goals the game before, Cox Mill was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell just short of the West Cabarrus Wolverines by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Cox Mill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while West Cabarrus are ranked 24th).

Cox Mill's goal came courtesy of Ibrahim Tahir, which was the first he's scored this season.

Cox Mill's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for West Cabarrus, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
