The Bulldogs came up short against the Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
While Virgin Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-22.

Virgin Valley suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 20-6. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
