Basketball Game Preview: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Curry Yellowjackets

The Cordova Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Curry Yellowjackets at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Curry took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cordova, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Cordova turned things around against Tarrant on Saturday. They blew past the Wildcats 52-32.

Meanwhile, Curry ended up a good deal behind Dora on Friday and lost 44-25. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Curry now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Cordova, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Everything came up roses for Cordova against Curry in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 53-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cordova since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
