Softball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

Thunder Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Madison Bobcats. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by just one run.

Giulia Johns was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Sorg, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Madison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

As of now, neither Thunder Ridge nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
