Henderson hadn't done well against Kilgore recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Henderson Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kilgore Bulldogs, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it two in a row for Henderson and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Kilgore, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 15-2.
