King entered their tilt with Hillcrest on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. While the Wolves didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

King was led to victory by Angeline Morales and Olivia Manley. Morales had 14 digs and three assists, while Manley had three digs and two aces. Morales has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

King's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Hillcrest, they moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

King didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Palm Desert on the 23rd. As for Hillcrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Los Osos on the 23rd.
