Lumberton and Vidor are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Raiders will challenge the Pirates at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Vidor will be up against a hot Lumberton  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Raiders' way against West Orange-Stark on Friday as they made off with  a  26-3 win. With that  victory, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.7  runs per game.
 Colton Harwell made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Harwell was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  six  RBI gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Luke Cody, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryan Verde, who  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances.
 Lumberton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .673. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Vidor made easy work of West Orange-Stark  last Friday and carried off  a  10-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Pirates.
  Rylan Chessar was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with five  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Kolt Holden, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Lumberton's record is now 18-7-1. As for Vidor, their record now sits at 14-9.
 Tuesday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lumberton has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .446. However, it's not like Vidor struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
